OUR PROCESS
IDENTIFY
What's the difference between accents? What stands out? We'll give you answers before our first session so we can start off with a solid plan
INDULGE
Let yourself try out new sounds that don't exist in your native language. Consider every sound in this new accent slightly different. You may find what sounds silly to you sounds extremely natural to native speakers
IMITATE
Try to pronounce the word with your 'old' accent and your 'new' one.
We're not forgetting or removing old pronunciation; we're holding them up next to each other and hearing the unique differences. Hollywood here we come!
INVITE
You won't only get consistent feedback from us, our personal word lists and practice guides. We'll also utilize a combination of sites that will save you hours. Add to that verifying your pronunciations with all the special people in your life, and we got ourselves a party!
IMPLEMENT
Once we can confidently replicate these new variations of sounds, rhythmic patterns, and intonations, you'll be ready to take this new accent out for a spin. The goal isn't to be thinking hard in conversation. We rely on our weeks of training and let the muscle memory take over.
